Becoming a member of the “Double Deuce” starts with you. Before diving into our state-of-the-art training program, you must be sure about becoming a volunteer member.

- Complete the membership application and obtain and provide the documents below:
- PA Criminal Background Check
- PA Child Abuse History Check
- Membership applications will be reviewed, and the Fire Chief and President will schedule a station tour for applicants.
- Membership applications will be presented during the department's Membership Meeting for acceptance.
- Once membership is accepted, new members will begin the probation period, during which you will accomplish the following:
- Fitted for Operational Gear
- Provided with Response Pager
- Scheduled for Fire Training Courses
- Scheduled for Station Training Events
Junior Firefighters
- If you are under 18 years old and are interested in firefighting and EMS, we encourage you to start the application process for Junior Firefighter.
- Our “Double Deuce” Junior firefighters gain real-world experience and work with our senior firefighters to train and prepare them for their future, help their community, gain life skills, and leadership skills, and open doors for exploring career paths in firefighting or as first responders.
