Sunday 10/2 from 1400-1600 hrs viewing at Heffner’s Funeral Home 1551 Kenneth Rd, York.
Monday viewing at Union Fire Company, 201 York Street, Manchester from 1400-1600 hrs, a short service to follow at 1600 hrs. There is no post-service procession, interment is at the family’s discretion. There will be a reception at Union Fire Company following the service.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our President Kraig Herman. Kraig has been a mainstay in York County and Pennsylvania Emergency Services. He wore many hats throughout his lifetime; EMT, Firefighter, Fire Investigator, Instructor, Dispatcher, Lieutenant, and President….but none more important than Friend, Son, Brother, and Father. Kraig was so many of these things to so many people. He will forever be remembered for his kind heart and quick wit. His laughter still rings out in our halls. Our prayers are with his Mother, Sons, Brothers, and family. Funeral arrangements are pending and will be shared when completed.
